Since its founding in 1981 Ekoji Buddhist Temple has touched the lives of many people; from those who grew up as Shin Buddhists to those who came to it from a different path. We have been fortunate to have Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai (BDK) as a benefactor that enabled us to build and operate our wonderful temple campus in Fairfax Station, Virginia. We are working to become self-sufficient so we can cover the temple expenses and continue to share the Buddha Dharma well into the future. To accomplish this, the temple Board of Directors established the Gift of Light Fund.
